Ane Carlsen

About the artist:

Ane Carlsen is a dancer and performer based in Copenhagen. In her work she looks at the dynamics between seeing and being seen, between the strange and the common. She holds a B.A in Dance and Performance from Stockholm University (2020-2023) and a B.A in Psychology from Copenhagen University (2016-2019)

About the work:

In Sienna & Valencia 2 Infinity two characters find themselves in an endless bff-constellation. Together they go beyond, reach higher and put each other on display. It's a world of instant gratifications and unspoken rules where power shifts and pleasure takes on ever-changing forms.

Sienna & Valencia 2 Infinity is a work-in-progress by Ane Carlsen and Evelina Jakobsson Potenciano. Music by Emil Lennstrand

Ingeborg Meier Andersen

About the artist:

Ingeborg Meier Andersen (she/her, DK) is a dancer, performance maker and showgirl. Her work spans across several mediums, yet always yearns for a transformation through sonic somatic movement and the body as a potent, ever changing centrifuge.

With a yearlong background in western commercial dance training and her BA in choreography from SNDO (2020), Ingeborg urges to uphold a hybrid and immediate body seeking to emancipate systems of rigidity and invite humor and rhythm in as a source of approachability toward a given medium or topic of work.

About the work:

Through a repetition of general rehearsals shown for the spirits (good and bad) of the space, somehow a method of creating material has sedimented.

This is a general rehearsal.

This is right now.
Welcome to the first version of my work “SHOW & TELL”
